Cookie Policy
Every cookie and piece of browser storage Exitnine uses, what it’s for and how long it lasts.
The short version
We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies. Almost everything we store is needed for the website and app to work, such as keeping you signed in. The one exception is the 30-day reminder of an invite or offer link, and we only save that if you say yes.
Cookies and storage we use
| Name | What it does | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to your Exitnine account and keeps your session secure. | Until you sign out, or up to 400 days | Strictly necessary (cookie) |
exitnine_promo_code | Remembers an offer you clicked so the discount is applied at checkout. | Until you close your browser, or 30 days if you say yes | Strictly necessary (cookie) |
exitnine_referral_code | Remembers who invited you, so they get credit if you join later. | 30 days, only if you say yes | Optional (cookie and browser storage) |
exitnine_cookie_choice | Remembers your answer about invite and offer links, so we don’t ask again. | Until you clear your browser data | Strictly necessary (browser storage) |
| Quiz answers | Keeps your answers if you refresh the page while taking the free quiz. | Until you close the tab | Strictly necessary (browser storage) |
| Sign-up in progress | Holds what you’ve entered during sign-up until your account is ready. | Until sign-up finishes | Strictly necessary (browser storage) |
| App settings | Inside the members’ app: remembers things like your open chats, drafts and display choices on this device. | Until you clear your browser data | Strictly necessary (browser storage) |
Strictly necessary
These are needed for something you’ve asked for, like signing in, finishing sign-up, applying an offer at checkout or keeping your quiz answers while you take it. The law allows these without asking first, and the website won’t work properly without them.
Invite and offer links
If you arrive from an affiliate’s invite link or an offer link, we’ll ask whether to remember it for 30 days. If you say yes, we save a small first-party cookie so the person who invited you gets credit, or your offer still applies, if you come back later. If you say no, the invite or offer still works for that visit, and an offer stays until you close your browser. Either way, this is never used for advertising.
To change your answer, clear this website’s cookies and site data in your browser settings. You’ll be asked again the next time you use an invite or offer link.
How we count visits
To see how people find us and where they drop off before joining, we count steps on the public website, such as a page being opened, a plan being picked or a payment completing. This uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We record the page (without anything after the “?” in the address), the kind of device, and the website or link that sent you. We don’t record who you are.
We also use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load. It doesn’t use cookies.
Other services
When you pay, you’re taken to Stripe’s checkout, which sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe’s cookie settings. Episode pictures on our site load from YouTube’s image servers. On Exitnine Show episode pages, the video player only loads from YouTube (using its privacy-enhanced mode) when you press play, and YouTube’s own cookie rules apply from then on. Clicking through to YouTube takes you to YouTube, where the same applies.
