Exitnine is an AI-powered coaching and self-development platform. It is designed to help users reflect, plan, track progress and build a more intentional life. It is not a medical, therapy, legal, financial or emergency support service.
By using Exitnine, you agree to the handling of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Exitnine Limited is the data controller for the personal information we collect and use through Exitnine.ai.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we are not currently required to do so.

Exitnine is only available to users aged 18 or over.
You must not create an account or use Exitnine if you are under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we may delete the account and associated data.

We collect personal information that you provide directly, information created through your use of Exitnine, and limited technical information collected automatically.
Account and Identity Information

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.

Onboarding and Intake Information

AI Coach and Chat Data
When you use the AI coach, we collect:
- Messages you send
- AI responses generated for you
- Chat history
- Context from your profile, onboarding answers and previous interactions where relevant
This allows Exitnine to provide ongoing, personalised coaching rather than generic answers.
Journal Data
If you use the journal feature, we may collect:
- Journal entries
- Optional entry titles
- Mood, energy, stress or emotional check-ins
- AI reflections or summaries generated from your entries

Your profile may be visible to other Exitnine members. The information shown will depend on the profile fields you complete and your settings.
If a Circle is public, content may be accessible to Exitnine members. If a Circle is private, access will be limited to approved members of that Circle.
Calendar and Events Information
If you use calendar or event tools, including Google Calendar integration, we may collect:
- Calendar events you create in Exitnine
- Event titles, times, dates and descriptions
- Integration data needed to connect your calendar
- Event participation or access information
Support and Communication Data
If you contact us, we may collect:

We use Vercel Analytics to understand basic website and product usage. Vercel Analytics is designed to provide website analytics without using third-party cookies.
We use Sentry to detect, diagnose and fix technical errors.
4. Sensitive Information
Exitnine is a coaching and self-development platform, so users may choose to write about personal topics such as stress, anxiety, confidence, relationships, health, money, work, habits or personal struggles.
Some of this information may be sensitive.
You should not use Exitnine to store or share highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for your use of the service. You should not enter emergency medical information, urgent mental health crisis information, legal case details, passwords, government ID numbers, bank card numbers or other information you would not want processed by an online service.
Exitnine is not a crisis service. If you are in danger, at risk of harming yourself or others, or experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact emergency services or an appropriate professional support service immediately.
5. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your personal information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide access to Exitnine features
- Personalise your coaching experience
- Generate AI responses, plans, reflections and suggestions
- Save your progress, journal entries, profile, chats and tracker data
- Process subscriptions and payment status through Stripe
- Manage access to Standard and Pro features
- Enable community features, Circles, posts, comments and messages
- Provide customer support
- Send service updates, reminders and product notifications
- Send marketing emails where permitted
- Improve the platform, user experience and product performance
- Monitor usage, security, abuse, fraud and technical issues
- Debug errors and maintain platform reliability
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations

Contract
We use your information where necessary to provide Exitnine to you, including account creation, subscriptions, AI coaching, saved progress, community access and platform features.

7. AI Processing
Exitnine uses AI to provide coaching, reflections, plans, prompts, insights and recommendations.
At launch, we use Claude by Anthropic to power AI features.
When you use AI features, the information you provide may be sent to our AI provider so that a response can be generated. This may include your message, relevant onboarding answers, profile context, previous chat history, journal content or tracker data where needed to provide a useful response.
We use your information to personalise your Exitnine experience.
We do not use your personal data to train our own AI models at launch. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for your own decisions. Exitnine does not replace professional advice.
8. Human Review
Authorised members of the Exitnine team may access user data where necessary for:
- Customer support
- Safety review
- Abuse prevention
- Debugging
- Investigating technical issues
- Improving reliability
- Legal or security reasons
We do not casually read private user content. Access is limited to situations where there is a legitimate operational, safety, support or legal reason.

We share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate Exitnine. These include:
- Supabase - authentication and database services
- Stripe - payments, subscriptions, invoices and billing status
- Vercel - hosting, deployment and analytics
- Anthropic Claude - AI generation and coaching responses
- Google - OAuth login where used
- Google Calendar - calendar integration where enabled by the user
- Gmail - email communication
- Sentry - error monitoring and debugging
We may also share information where required to:
- Comply with the law
- Enforce our terms
- Protect Exitnine, our users or others
- Respond to lawful requests from regulators, courts or authorities
- Handle a company sale, merger, acquisition, restructuring or similar business transaction
We do not sell your personal information.

Exitnine is based in the United Kingdom, but some of our service providers may process data in other countries.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to protect it in line with applicable data protection laws. This may include using appropriate contractual safeguards with our service providers.
Because Exitnine is available worldwide, users outside the UK should understand that their information may be processed in the UK and in other countries where our providers operate.

At launch, Exitnine uses only essential cookies or similar technologies needed for the website and platform to work properly, including authentication, security and session management.
We do not currently use advertising pixels such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or Google Ads tracking.
We do not currently use non-essential marketing cookies.
We use Vercel Analytics to understand basic site usage and performance. Vercel Analytics does not use third-party cookies.
If we introduce non-essential cookies, advertising pixels or broader tracking technologies in future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide a cookie banner or consent mechanism.
12. Marketing and Product Communications
We may send you emails about Exitnine, including:

13. Community Visibility
Exitnine includes community features.
Depending on your activity and settings, other users may be able to see:
- Your profile
- Your profile photo
- Your bio
- Your posts
- Your comments
- Your likes or reactions
- Your Circle memberships
- Your public Circle activity
- Your connection activity
- Messages you choose to send
Public Circle content may be visible to Exitnine members. Private Circle content is intended to be visible only to approved members of that Circle.
Do not post information in community areas that you do not want other users to see.
14. Direct Messages
Exitnine may allow users to send private messages to each other.
Private messages are intended to be visible to the sender and recipient, but they may be accessed by Exitnine where necessary for safety, support, moderation, abuse prevention, technical debugging, legal compliance or enforcement of our terms.
15. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
As a general guide:
- Account data is kept while your account is active.
- If you cancel your subscription, we may keep account data for up to 60 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Chat history, journal entries, onboarding answers, profile data and tracker data are kept until you delete them, delete your account, or ask us to delete them, subject to legal exceptions.
- Payment and accounting records may be kept for up to 6 years where required for tax, accounting or legal purposes.
- Support messages may be kept as long as needed to handle your request and maintain accurate business records.
- Technical logs and analytics data are kept only for as long as needed for security, debugging, performance and product improvement.
- Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited period before being permanently removed.
Where we no longer need personal information, we will delete it or anonymise it.
16. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your personal information
- Restrict how we use your information

Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

No online service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and telling us if you believe your account has been compromised.

We do not sell your personal information.
We also do not allow advertisers to use your personal information through advertising pixels at launch.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, in-app notice or another appropriate method.
The latest version will always be available on Exitnine.ai.
